Educational Qualifications

B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Art) from Sir, J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, in 2002 in metal work.  This course included knowledge of use of various metals and processes such as repousse`, etching, enamelling on copper, shaping etc.

Experience

• Designing and creating murals for homes and offices.
• Designing and creating designer utility objects (hard furnishing).
• Customized jewellery designing for individuals.

Statement and Vision

Since graduating from The Sir J.J. School of Art, I have been working in metal-work; I have recently taken up enamelling as my main medium of expression. My enamels are an expression of what inspires me which are all the elements around me the people and nature. In every piece, I try to do something different technically as well as improve on the concepts and design aspect. Being originally a metal artist, this aspect is seen in almost every piece as I eventually end up moving out of the second dimension into the third. My aim is not only to evolve as an artist but also as an enamellist
