GICLEE REPRODUCTIONS Giclee (pronounced zhee-klay) reproductions are created from very high resolution digital scans of original fine art. Using the latest in printmaking technology, colour accuracy is better than with any other form of print reproduction. Texture and brush marks are faithfully reproduced, making the reproduction nearly indistinguishable from the original.
Archival quality pigment based inks are used to reproduce the image onto canvas which is then sealed with a satin varnish for protection. Each Giclee reproduction is produced with an additional border of actual image designed for stretching around the sides of a timber frame. Elena Parashko is now offering limited edition Giclee reproductions on the seascape “Mariner’s Journey”. A total of only 199 prints will ever be produced, ensuring their value will continue to increase. Each reproduction comes with a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity. These high quality Giclee reproductions are available the same size as the original (100%), 80% of the original size and 60% of the original size. However, print size can be customised for individual clients as the image can be reproduced to almost any percentage reduction or up to 114% enlargement on the original. After making a purchase, you will receive your limited edition Giclee reproduction rolled up in a postal tube. Take it to your local framing service where it can either be framed in the traditional way or stretched around a timber frame for a contemporary look where no framing is required.

News from Elena
Elena's artwork is now being represented by a Malaysian art gallery, and she is currently writing articles for Australian and American art magazines. Recent Publications (Elena) * "Ocean Magazine" to feature Elena's seascapes in Ocean Essentials section. March/April 2009 issue. * "Artist's Palette" magazine to feature Elena Parashko Gallery in Issue 74. In stores May 2009. * "My Home" magazine to feature an article written by Elena on custom designing artwork for the home. Vol 4 No 1 on sale 8 May 2009.
* Express Publications' special issue "Fine Art Essentials" to feature a step-by-step painting demonstration of Elena's seascape "North Head From Chinaman's". Elena also contributed the articles 'Painting with Oil and Acrylic Paints' and 'Things Your Art Teacher Never Told You'. On sale 26 June 2009. * A series of articles written and illustrated by Elena on 'Learning How to Draw' now appearing monthly in "Fine Art and Decorative Painting" magazine.
